Family Wedding - Tiffany and Rueben -

Katherine and I were honoured to be invited to the wedding of my first cousin's (Charlotte Cooper) daughter Tiffany. Charlotte is the yougest daughter (of three sisters and a brother) of Phylis and Wilf Herndl, my father's sister and her husband.
Over the years it is easy to lose touch with the more distant relatives, distant either physically or just in terms of family dynamics. While my wife and I have kept in touch with Tiffany's grandparents over the years, the truth is that we hardly know the kids of our cousins. Kath and I enjoyed the opportunity to get to know my cousins and second cousins afresh, with a newly rekindled affection and respect for the whole family of my cousin and her husband.
And of course, it was wonderful to get away to someplace warm in the spring, after months of rain, etc. in Vancouver.
